Wanting to tweak the Phantom 4 Pro gimbal control issues without the potential RF interference of a cell tower, I decided to go over and check out Andrews Geyser in Old Fort, NC. As most of the country knows, the weather has been very cold for the past few weeks so I wasn't even sure the water would be spraying. As Steely (my dog) and I drove up we saw a huge ice mound with water shooting out of it, about 50 or 60 feet up into the air. Steely rolled around in the sun while I flew the Phantom 4 around and took pictures of the geyser and the surrounding railroad. Old Fort city workers were doing some renovations to the parking area and entrance to make the park more accessible. Upgrades should be completed by the end of February.
